is reinforced with 4oz fiberglass with addtional layers at seams, pressure points and ends. Used only twice; once on Lake Superior Apostle Islands in high waves- performed very well. Has two sealed bulkheads for storage of gear and high deck for long legged folks like me. Approximately 200 hrs of labor, this is one - of - a - kind! The kit alone for this boat costs $1,300. The Anas Acuta is a sea kayak with a pedigree. It was designed by Geoff Blackford based on drawings of a centuries old design from the West Greenland village of Igdlorssuit. With the kayak comes a brand new spray skirt and cockpit cover, strap on navigational compass, and even the garage hoist system for keeping the boat elevated in your garage (and thus protected). I'll even throw in a Thule rack system for mounting to an existing luggage rack on your vehicle. This is a truly big, expedition type boat with alot of cockpit space and leg room for the larger paddler. If you read the reviews you will understand what a truly great boat this is.... lots of dry storage front and back, adjustable foot controlled rudder pedals, etc. It has always been kept in pristine condition elevated in my garage.

For sale is a beautiful Year 2000 Hurricane Tracer 165 Sea Kayak in "Good" condition. With Aqua Blue decking over a White hull this kayal is visually appealing while the tough thermomold ABS plastic ensures rigidity and functional longevity for years to c
ome. At 46lbs and well balanced, it is easily manuvered from water to vehicle to storage and back again. This 16' 5" kayak is extremely fast and manuverable with it's classic European hull design and strongly defined rocker(bow/stern profiles) and yet it is quite capable of solid stability in big water and waves in the hands of an experienced paddler. While slightly shorter than it's 17+ foot brothers, it is every bit a serious sea craft, with the added benefit of quicker turning and a more zippy responsiveness in general. The Tracer provides good tracking, especially with the skeg down, which also helps reduce wind-cocking. The two holds with water resistant hatch covers ensure a dry cargo carrying capacity for multi-day touring excursions. Please check out the attached link for reviews on the Tracer 165.

This kayak does show normal wear for it's age with some markings and scratches on it's deck and hull but nothing significant. The deck rigging and hatch covers are in great shape as is the skeg and it's linkage and controls. It was recently inspected by NW Canoe of St. Paul during routine maintainance and passed muster with no concerns or hidden issues. It is currently registered through Dec, 2013 with the State of Minnesota.
