For sale is my CLC Patuxent 19 sea kayak. This boat is designed to go fast and it really does - easily maintains 6 knots over distance. Extra light 3mm and 6mm thick mahogany (Okume) marine plywood covered with fiberglass for strength and durability. Incl
udes a custom retractable skeg so it tracks straight across wind and currents. 19 ft long x 20" width - tapers to 1/2" at the bow and stern so it just glides through the water. Very light and rigid - under 40 lbs. The boat is in excellent condition. Includes adjustable foot rests and a neoprene spray skirt. I am selling a Perception kayak by Jeep.
The colors of the kayak are all black with green trim.
The dimensions of the kayak are approximately: 22" W x 11" H x 157" L (front to back).
The dimensions of the sitting area is approximately: 15" W x 27" L (
front to back).
There are scratches on it and the green trim is fading. There is also scratch writing from the previous owner.
The kayak also comes with a black Powerflex Paddles paddle. The length is 86" from end to end.
There are a few marks and scratches on the paddle but still works good.
Been tested on the water and the kayak still floats great.
Selling for $300 or best offer!

Note that the picture on the beach is not of my exact kayak, but it's the best one I could find to show the "full" kayak. All of Flickr pictures are of my kayak, though.
Like I said, the kayak is in great condition. No holes; no patching needed. I wanted to highlight all of the "damage" in the Flickr pictures. There are just normal signs of use. It's not shiny and new but just as functional as the day it was purchased. :)
Shipping within the US is ~$125-$150 via Fed Ex Ground. (The larger bag is just over the "OS3" or oversize limit for both Fed Ex & UPS = surcharge.) Pick up is also OK. Located in Chicago, IL.

The canoe itself is in good condition aside from minor scratches and a semi loose handle that could easily be fixed. I've used it numerous times fo
r fishing trips both solo and with friends. It's a great canoe just for general recreational use and for fishing. Caught a lot of fish in that thing. The only reason I'm selling is I've moved on to saltwater fishing and I'm in need of a kayak.
Comes with two paddles, two life jackets, an anchor and I'll throw in the sawhorses for storage if you want them.
